Job Profile Summary

Accountable for organizing, maintaining, and directing all assigned general accounting activities and functions.

Job Description

Performs accounting duties including processing journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, process allocations etc. Ensures correctness of entries prepared and accounts reconciliations. Ensures preparation of timely and accurate operating/financial statements to both internal management and external users. Supports month-end and yearend close activities. Supports the analysis and interpretation of results, along with the preparation of financial and operating reports to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls. Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures. Implements such changes where applicable.

Qualifications

At least a equivalent experience in a finance related area or equivalent with professional certification (e.g. CPA)

At least 1-3 years’ experience in the ATR function

Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable

Account to Report, General Accounting knowledge and experience is a plus

Experience in SOX/local statutory audit and reporting requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to express ideas and information in an organized and logical manner

Shown understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes

Ability to identify areas of improvement to work effectiveness and efficiency, and drive necessary action to completion

Has background in month end closing activities

Willing to work in Paranaque City

Flexibility to be assigned in different shifts to support global service

Experience in SAP or other ERPs an advantage
