The Department:
Within LeaseWeb, the Sales organization takes responsibility for the full sales cycle. From engaging prospects (business development) to seeking new opportunities to increase the services to existing customers (account management). The culture is dynamic and fast-paced. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for inbound (and possibly also outbound) sales activities
All leads are generated by chat, email, customer service, sales support or put through by 1st line inquiries
It is essential for this role to uncover customer needs and new business opportunities
You follow up with these leads and dispatch them and other requests such as new customer requests, named account requests, opportunities, etc. to someone on the sales team
Answering calls, responding to chats and tickets
Recording and monitoring agreements, offers, and contracts in the CRM system (currently Salesforce)
Feed the sales team with high potential sales leads/opportunities
Supporting Sales campaigns, which are developed by Business Development and Marketing
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of working experience and knowledge of the hosting industry and data centers (service providers, manufacturers, and technologies)
1-3 Years of sales experience
A College degree or professional education required (or equivalent work experience)
Basic knowledge or interest in operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware), network equipment (Cisco routing, switching, VPN, load balancing, firewalling), and server technology (Dell, HP, IBM).
Excellent communication, social skills, and customer-focused
Must be a proactive, self-starter with the ability to travel as needed
Valid driver’s license
