Position: Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector seeking the next step in your career? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? If so, you may be right for our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Oversight: Own and manage the quality checking process, ensuring that all products meet or exceed the required quality standards.

Documentation Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality inspection documents, including inspection plans, checklists, and quality control procedures.

Measurement Optimization: Create and optimize measurement processes and gauging setups to ensure accurate and efficient quality inspections.

Gauge Calibration: Manage gauge calibration and maintenance, ensuring that all measuring equipment is accurate and in proper working condition.

Audit and Improvement: Conduct regular audits of current quality processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Data Analysis: Analyze quality data and create reports to track quality metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership: Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning within the team.

Compliance: Stay up to date with industry quality standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.

Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or related industry

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and tools

Experience with gauge management and calibration

Proficiency in creating and maintaining quality inspection documents

Ability to develop and optimize measurement processes and gauging setups

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software

ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or similar certification is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to take initiative and drive quality improvements without constant direction
