PART TIME: POSITION

Title: Maintenance / Janitorial

Scope:

This position is part-time and requires a self-starting individual. Typical hours of work are from 05:00 until 11:00 Monday through Thursday, and 05:00 until 09:00 Friday. Employee will be expected to conduct cleaning of buildings on the campus of Manhattan Christian College. Upon completion of cleaning duties, employee will assist the maintenance team in other duties until the end of the shift. Duties include, but not limited to:

Sweeping

Moping

Buffing

Vacuuming office areas and common areas

Emptying trash cans in offices and common areas

Dusting surfaces

Cleaning restrooms

Cleaning windows, as required

Minor landscaping tasks

Must obtain and maintain a valid Class C Drivers license

Must pass a criminal background check (as employee will be working around students)

High School diploma (preferred)

No other certifications required

Experience:

2 Years janitorial experience (preferred)

Wages:

$11.00 hr to start

After 90 day evaluation may raise to $12.00 hr
