Your role

We are seeking a Data and MLOps Engineer with at least two years of experience to join our team in GCRG. As a Data and MLOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our machine learning operations (MLOps) processes and enhancing our toolset and libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain MLOps framework both for the AI/ML and rule-based models as well as scalable data architecture and infrastructure to enable efficient data processing, integration, and analysis.

• Design and implement reusable Python assets, code and applications templates and ongoing AI development framework enhancements.

• Develop and optimize MLOps pipelines for efficient model training, evaluation, and deployment.

• Collaborate with data scientists to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Implement and optimize machine learning workflows and model deployment processes.

• Implement best practices for data governance, data security, and data quality while ensuring scalability, reliability, and speed.

• Troubleshoot and debug data and MLOps issues, identify and implement solutions.

• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and MLOps processes for performance and efficiency.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and MLOps.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to drive the successful implementation of data-driven projects. You will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling our data architecture and MLOps pipelines, enabling us to extract valuable insights from large-scale datasets.

Your expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum two years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in Python, other programming languages such as Java, or Scala advantageous

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions.

• Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD knowledge and tools such as MLFlow, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
