Senior Accountant- Public accounting

Our client located in Waterloo is a well-established Public Accounting firm looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a midsized local accounting firm with a great reputation and many long-term employees. In this role you would get a wide variety of experience working with clients in many different industries. Responsibilities:

Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

Assisting with audit processes and year ends.

Trust accounting

Assist with corporate reorganizations and estate planning

Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.

Create working relationships with the stakeholders involved on year-end engagements.

Lead a team and work closely with clients

Handling communications with the CRA.

You must have your CPA designation or be in the final stages

2 plus years of Public Accounting experience

Strong technical skills.
