Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.

Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly -process.

Good knowledge of plastic parts manufacturing and assembly process

Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section.

Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.

Should be aware of strength of materials.

Basic knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming/Joining process & also working with suppliers.

Checking Feasibility w.r.t Regulations, Manufacturability & Assembly, engagement with CAE team and taking countermeasures, confirming testing performance, resolving issues etc. Weight & Cost Management

Experience

Experience in BIW Bus body design, Plastic parts Design & Development.

Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on any one of BIW systems and their subsystem designs & plastic parts.

Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on Bus body parts and knowledge of designing software with PLM.

Industry Preferred
