Cut & Cover Engineer

* BS Civil Engineering

* Registered with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)

* With at least 5-10 years of general experience in construction or design and heavy civil structures

* Familiar with cut & cover and underground design and construction processes, construction contracts and Philippine site organization and practice

* With good oral and written communication skills

* Computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Review contractors design-related submissions for cut & cover and other structures, including RFI's, working/shop drawings, method statements, materials.

* Check temporary works designs involving steel, concrete and soil analysis.

* Attend and contribute to design and construction workshops with the Contractor.

* Ensure contract requirements are enforced both in documentation and in the field.

* Report concisely in writing and verbally to colleagues and client.
