Business Development Executive

We are a leading Recruitment Company based in Colombo Sri Lanka and we are in search for a Business Development Executive to join our team.

This role involves visiting customers across the country, with a specific focus on industrial zones, to generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship building, a target-oriented mindset, and a high level of integrity. Experience in the electrical sector, particularly in medium and low voltage areas, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit customers in various locations, with an emphasis on industrial zones, to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.

Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements with the support of Engineering teams.

Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.

Provide regular reports on customer visits, business opportunities, and market trends.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the electrical sector.

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.

Demonstrated perseverance and a target-oriented approach to achieving sales goals.

High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Experience in medium and low voltage areas is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel extensively across the country.
