We're excited to announce that a confidential client has engaged us to find a talented Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team, with opportunities available in Columbus, Ohio.

The Electrical Project Manager will have a pivotal role in the company, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, codes, and specifications.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.

Site Management: Oversee job sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is progressing as planned.

Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.

Problem Solving: Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and budgets.

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in electrical project management, preferably in a commercial setting.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Procore, or similar.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
