Quality Engineer, Compliance & Assurance

Responsible for supporting and maintaining corporate SQF compliance and Quality Assurance. Ensures this function meets Ball Metalpack’s Food & Household Products Packaging Operations’ overall plans and objectives with particular on providing strong Customer, Plant, and Supplier support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead annual reviews and maintenance of Divisional Quality System documentation (pFMEAs, Control Plans, SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.)

Lead Divisional/Plant Quality System SQF internal audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain compliance

Lead process and product qualifications utilizing standard SMP PPAP process

Lead specific Customer assigned qualification PPAP projects

Lead other Quality Engineering projects such as SPC, GR&R, Capabilities Studies, etc. as needed

This position is located at our Columbus, Ohio facility.

We’d love to hear from you if:

Preferred if you have 3 or more years work experience in Quality Assurance in a divisional or corporate setting

You have at least a 2-year degree or 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing setting

This is a progression position and level will be based on candidate experience and business needs

Must have at least Six Signa Green Belt training

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $100,350 to $120,420.
