Role Summary:

Act as a trusted advisor and technical expert, guiding organizations on their journey to leverage ServiceNow's IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform. You'll utilize your expertise to design, implement, and configure ITOM solutions that streamline IT processes, improve visibility, and enhance service delivery.

Solution Desing & Implementation

Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT operations teams to understand their needs and pain points.

Design comprehensive ITOM solutions leveraging modules like Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.

Configure and customize ITOM modules to optimize IT service delivery, automate workflows, and improve incident resolution times.

Develop integrations between ITOM and other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM) for a holistic IT service management experience.

Integrate ITOM with external systems (e.g., CMDB, monitoring tools) to ensure data consistency and real-time insights.

Technical Expertise and Innovation:

Possess a strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM architecture, functionalities, and best practices.

Stay up-to-date on the latest ITOM features and innovations, including new modules and functionalities.

Identify opportunities to leverage automation and improve operational efficiency within ITOM.

Develop custom scripting using ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) to extend functionalities as needed.

Maintain a strong understanding of security best practices for configuring and managing ITOM deployments.

Communication and Collaboration:

Work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, IT operations teams, and project managers.

Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Provide comprehensive training and documentation to ensure user adoption and knowledge transfer.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve ITOM deployments.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a ServiceNow consultant or similar technical role, with a focus on ITOM implementations is preferred.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure management principles and methodologies.

Experience with IT monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., network monitoring, log management) is a plus.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is beneficial for cloud management functionalities.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Possess ServiceNow Certification – CIS - Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
