For Safety and Environmental services in the regulated industry.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

OSHA 30hrs Certification (General or Construction Industry) and three to five (3-5) years of experience supporting Safety activities within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.

Bilingual: Spanish and English.

Experience in:

Proven experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs.

Strong knowledge of safety evaluation techniques, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs to employees and contractors, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Develop and manage the Contractor Safety Program, ensuring all contractors comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Support investigations of incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Perform regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.

Maintain accurate records of safety training, incident reports, and compliance documentation.

Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes,and recommend improvements to EHS programs and practices.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and human resources, to promote a culture of safety.
