Job Description

Responsible for Tsumeb, Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.

Duties and responsibilities...

Understands markets, economic and political opportunities in the region and deals with environmental threats.

Manages profitability and delivery of new business in the area.

Manages all stakeholders in the regional market.

Rebuilds and grow business.

Manages and minimizes business risk in the region.

Builds high-performance ethic in the region amongst employees.

Ensures financial services industry regulations are adhered to.

Manages sales managers and is accountable for the overall sales targets and profitability of the area.

Manages sales and expense budget for a sales team in the area against set targets.

Responsible for distribution strategy of products within the area.

Identifies and creates coordinated sales opportunities.

Responsible for external networking and relationship building with key door openers.

Recruits, develops, coach and manage Sales Managers to meet business standards.

Branch visits to all branches once every quarter.

Minimum Requirements...

Namibian Citizenship.

Grade 12 with commercial business-related subjects and a minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in business management, marketing and sales, insurance or financial services or markets sector.

Bachelor’s degree (NQF L7).

Previous managerial experience is essential.

A clean criminal and credit check.

Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining a professional image.

Good planning, organizing and time-management skills.

Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

Proactive and passionate about sales.

Outstanding networking skills.

Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Self-starter and team player.

Valid Driver’ license.
