Pay

:

HK$26,173 to HK$36,570 (HGPS point 9 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform clerical and supervisory duties by following general instructions or prescribed procedures with minimal supervision. The typical duties include:

1. Carry out procurement and materials management activities and ensure all activities in the team are carried out in accordance with the established guidelines and plans.

2. Liaise with relevant stakeholders in the supply chain to ensure the right goods and services are delivered efficiently.

3. Provide support to supervisors on Furniture & Equipment (F&E) items/ consumables/ services purchases, coordination work and monitoring system.

4. Assist in the preparation of quotation/tender invitation and contract document.

5. Provide clerical support to supervisors to meet day-to-day operational needs.

6. Collect and compile data and progress/statistics reports to department.

7. Provide support to supervisors on materials management including inventory and asset management.

8. Supervise and train junior staff.

9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Entry Requirements:

1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the HKCEE including English Language (Syl. B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. OR

(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

- Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and

- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.

2. 3 years’ clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas:

(a) general administration

(b) filing and records keeping

(c) supplies and stores

(d) human resources

(e) finance, accounting and statistics

(f) data input and analyses

(g) typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing

(h) telephone operation, client communication and reception service

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:

1. Experience in procurement and materials management.

2. Qualification in purchasing and supplies or equivalent.

3. Knowledge of HA IT systems such as ERP, EAM and ICS.

4. Knowledge of common office applications (e.g. E-mail, Internet/Intranet, etc.) and proficiency in PC applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Chinese Work Processing).

5. Good interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and communication skills.

6. Self-motivated and able to work independently.

7. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
