Auto Body Painter

Sterling Automotive Group is seeking experienced Auto Body Painters who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business!

As an Auto Body Painter at our Collision Center, you are responsible for utilizing auto painting techniques to restore vehicles back to their original repair. This also includes the preparation of all required paints and materials. You are also responsible for keeping a clean and organized area, and following all safety protocols. Having experience with spraying both solvent and water-based paints is a requirement for this role, and having a PPG Certification is preferred. You’ll also communicate and work closely with the Body Shop Manager and Estimators on the vehicle repair status.

Do you have what it takes? We are looking for a team player with a high level of motivation and at least two or more years of experience as an Auto Body Painter. The ideal candidate must be coachable, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well with others as well as independently.

Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen, have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age or have 3 full years of driving record. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
