The Role:

We are hiring full-time, permanent Project Managers responsible for the overall direction, completion, financial outcome, technical success, and quality of construction projects. This role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, design partners, and unions.

Location: Various sites across the Greater Toronto Area, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Barrie, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.

Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.

Plan, organize, and control projects per established policies and systems.

Supervise project administration staff and engineers, and collaborate with superintendents.

Implement and enforce construction site rules and procedures.

Maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, and design partners.

Forecast, track, and report project costs/revenue.

Approve subcontract progress payments and job material invoices.

Prepare monthly progress applications and project cashflows.

Develop strategies for staffing, training, and compliance.

Resolve issues related to labor, staffing, materials, and contracts.

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent (preferred)

Proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Project, Scheduling Programs, Project, and Cost Management Systems

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
