We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test who can participate in creating innovative automated solutions to measure the quality of our software.

Responsibilities: * Continually improve the quality of O.C.

Tanner software products through the execution of test strategies * Interact regularly with direct leadership, development, and product management to solve challenging problems * Establish a functional understanding of our products from both a developer's and a user's perspective * Use, maintain and contribute to the development of test tools, mocks and automated frameworks * Identify, reproduce and report actual or potential product defects * Diagnose root causes of software defects and recommend required action * Assist product development engineers in creating and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline * Work with assigned product team(s) to ensure minimal duplication and maximum visibility * 1+ years of experience with automation tools (like Selenium) * Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git/GitHub * Experience with Jira or other similar defect tracking tools * Experience with backend services testing * Understanding of RESTful APIs and messaging protocols (XML, JSON) * Proven ability to create and/or maintain automated tests in a predefined framework * Ability to work within and across multifunctional teams * Knowledge of testing methodologies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience: * Cloud application testing * Kafka and/or GraphQL testing * Scripting abilities; Bash, Python, Ruby, et cetera * Strong analytical skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
