Ecolab is searching for a driven Accounts Payable Director for future opportunities within our Finance division in Pune, India.

Responsible for coordinating and managing the accounts payable invoice processing function,

including accurate and timely completion of processing, appropriate coding, and completion of

approvals, implemented controls related to invoice processing, and required sub-ledger.

The Accounts Payable team helps drive operational efficiency and payment integrity, maximizes efficiencies, and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements.

This team's expertise lies is in coordinating and managing the accounts payable invoice. processing function; providing review and oversight of all cash payments, bank wires, and direct payments; providing support to vendors via a vendor helpdesk that supports and responds to accounts payable inquiries; and providing audit capabilities related to all Travel & Expense processing.

What You Will Do:

Manage large sized teams and/or work efforts within Ecolab Global Business Services supporting global functions and businesses.

Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, including helping teams to prioritize issues.

Create innovative solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.

Maintain a clear understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team and business goals.

Support the global accounts payable service delivery leader and source-to-pay global capability leader in execution of global and regional transformational projects.

Hold monthly meaningful conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching and feedback, training needs, and career discussions.

Monitor & drive team performance, including throughput and quality as per defined metrics.

Interact with peers and/or management levels within the business or internal stakeholders.

Understand and effectively manage the team's governance and performance.

Understand the level of risk & propose mitigation plans and partner with other support teams to resolve requests/issues in a timely manner.

Delegate to develop and groom team members for succession planning.

Maintain business relationships, interface through regular connects and emails across global stakeholders.

Understand business priorities and problems & help translate actions for the team.

Champion knowledge management efforts within the team by overseeing the identification and updating of knowledge, ensuring quality and relevance.

Facilitate continuous improvement by fostering a culture of innovation and supporting team members in implementing improvement idea.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes including invoice and payment processing, payment, and travel and expense management

Understanding of end- to- end Source to Pay concepts and ability to leverage an end-to-end process mindset.

Experience managing a team of 100+ resources.

Superior interpersonal skills: ability to build strong working relationships.

Customer service mindset for internal and external customers

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple levels of management and across functions and divisions.
