Job Duties

Assists the Rehab Department to ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for adult and geriatric individuals in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Providing professional Barber/Cosmetology Services for clients in need while supporting and promoting positive changes and healthy interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Current licensure with the Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetology.

2. High School Diploma, GED.

Additional Considerations

1. Post high school education in a related field.

3. Experience providing services to adults diagnosed with SMI, ID/DD, and/or substance abuse.

4. Experience in a healthcare setting.

These positions are hourly/wage and not eligible for benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
