The opportunity

As the MSN Clinical Coordinator, you will provide expertise to facilitate clinical practice experiences for students enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner Nurse track. You'll secure advanced practice clinical practice experiences that meet Advanced Practice Registered Nurse course outcomes, and national and state-level accreditation and compliance requirements. You will have oversight of metrics for student assessment and evaluation related to performance of clinical practice sites, clinical practice experiences and monitor APRN certification success rates. You are qualified to design, manage, and teach in the subject areas related to the clinical components. Together with nursing team, we will administer online programs and on-site immersion experiences to APRN students. You will report to the Associate Dean for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) tracks.

What you'll do:

Plan for all immersion experiences to ensure that students demonstrate achievement of skill competencies

Attend on-site immersions approximately three times a year, held in New Hampshire

Maintain APRN clinical practicum guides.

Oversee preceptor training program.

Conduct and coordinate site visits for student clinical placement experiences and evaluate clinical site placement effectiveness.

Coordinate with faculty and clinical preceptors to facilitate student learning plans.

Manage clinical tracking system to ensure clinical guidelines/student clinical contract and placement requirements are met.

Maintain a process for monitoring program outcomes for specialty practices and skill competencies.

Teach assigned courses.

Participate in curriculum oversight. For example, evaluating programs, evaluating courses, serving as course subject matter expert or program coordinator.

Contribute to high academic quality and standards as a consultant and participant in strategic reviews and administrative action.

Monitor regulatory and compliance standards.

What we're looking for:

Doctoral degree required

Masters' degree in Nursing

National board certification as an Family Nurse Practitioner

Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse

State APRN licensure, with credentials meeting NH APRN licensure

Ability to obtain an APRN license in any state

Minimum 3 years' experience as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Experience in clinical curriculum and clinical supervision

Evidence of online teaching and instructional technology

Knowledge of Board of Nursing and regulatory standards

Understanding of test blueprint knowledge for AANP and ANCC Board certification exams

Skills in development of clinical experiences aligned with practice, industry, regulatory, and certification standards.
