Based in Corowa, but will work across the Federation Council area Permanent full time, 35 hours per week Balance your life with a 9-day fortnight Annual salary of $99,309 to $109,616 plus superannuation (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Waste and Resources Coordinator to join our operations team.

In this role you will coordinate the delivery of shire-wide Waste Management Services, Landfills, Quarries, and the Corowa Aerodrome through providing high-level technical and management services.

This role will focus on ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Criteria Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated substantial relevant experience in a similar role relating to waste, quarries, landfills, engineering, environment, risk, compliance or regulation.

Hold a current and valid Class C driver’s licence.

Demonstrated knowledge of waste management practices and principles.

Demonstrated and proven ability to apply high-level technical skills to support management of waste contracts, procurement, systems, procedures, documentation, invoice reconciliation and record keeping.

Demonstrated and proven ability to work independently within area of expertise adhering to relevant legislation, Council policies and corporate goals.

Demonstrate responsiveness to provide high quality service to customers, both internal and external.

Demonstrated ability to meet the capability requirements of this position as defined in the focus capability statement contained in the position description.

The salary will be within the range of $1,909.80 to $2,108.00 per week plus super depending on qualifications, experience and skills.
