We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our team in the UAE.

The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the seamless operation of technology infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.

System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems, including updates, backups, and patch management.

Network Administration: Assist in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

User Training: Educate employees on the proper use of IT resources and best practices, offering training sessions as needed.

Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets, including hardware inventory, software licenses, and peripheral devices.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations for future reference.

Security Compliance: Implement and adhere to IT security policies to protect data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.

Qualifications Experience: Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role, with a strong understanding of IT systems and operations.

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or Cisco CCNA are advantageous.

Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments, network management, and common IT support tools.

Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Working Conditions Environment: Office setting with potential remote work options based on company policy.

Hours: Standard business hours with the possibility of on-call duties or after-hours support as needed.
