Cyber Software Engineering, Senior Advisor

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines using python, kubernetes, and ansible

Maintain and enhance our CI/CD processes with a focus on GitLab, ensuring smooth code integration and delivery

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization

Knowledge of ElasticSearch to enhance logging, monitoring, and analytic capabilitites

Contribute to the architecture and design of our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability best practices

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Required: GitLab and GitLab runners, python, kubernetes, and ansible

Desired: ElasticSearch, AWS, and System Admin or DevOps experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

Strong proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, and Ansible for infrastructure automation and orchestration.

Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with ElasticSearch for log management and monitoring

Working knowledge of AWS services and architecture

Ability to collaborate effectively in team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Strong problem solving skills and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
