Compensation

*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Finance Senior Analyst supports the Rochester Film Finishing and IS&C operations. This person has oversight of preparing, analyzing, forecasting, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial data including department expenses, production variances and Unit Manufacturing Costs (UMC).

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reports to communicate and explain production variances and the impact on UMC. Production variances include price variance, usage variance and labor/burden spend/volume variance.

• Prepare forecasts and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

• Manage and prioritize site capital project expenditures.

• Understand the manufacturing process for both Rochester Film Finishing and IS&C to allow you to be the Finance expert in the plant.

• Work with the Operations team to analyze and adjust Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements and participate in cycle counts and audits.

• Work with Finance manager to provide process improvements and business strategy support.

• Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills & Education:

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

• 5+ years of related work experience in Cost Accounting

• In-depth knowledge of major financial processes within manufacturing including standard setting, productivity and other cost analysis

• SAP experience including Cost Center planning, standard costing and production variance analysis

• Broad knowledge of US GAAP including product costing, inventory valuation and fixed assets

• Self motivated with strong analytical skills

• Desire to drive opportunities for productivity

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through financial analysis of high impact projects

• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interpret and report on financial performance of operations results with all levels of management

• Travel between 25% - 50% (mainly to the US)

• Fluent communication english and spanish (written and spoken)
