CARPENTER
• Male
• At least Elementary or High school graduate
• With experience as carpenter
• No visible tattoo
• With TESDA NC II Certificate
• With 3 certificates of employment from previous employers
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically and mentally fit for the job and in good health
• Punctuality and reliability are very important
• Willing to work in a shifting schedule
• Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
• Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
• Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taga kumpuni ng mga sirang gamit o taga-gawa / tagabuo ng gamit
- Inspect buildings and facilities for needed services and repairs
- Perform minor repairs
- Maintain doors, windows, furniture and other items
- Monitor and replace weather stripping
- Maintain building interiors and exteriors
- Build required items including specialty furniture
- Build stairs and other items
- Build other items as required
- Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
- Assist with the delivery of other related services
- Physically demanding job as some lifting is required
- Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity
In the workplace
- Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense Uniform will be provided that you will be required to wear
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
- Maintains inventory of completed products.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
