OUR MANUFACTURING CLIENT IS URGENTLY HIRING - THIS IS IN PERSON MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-5PM (This is NOT remote or Hybrid)

A/R experience for a manufacturing or Distribution company is ideal

Starting pay $20 per hour

Position is located near Fulton Industrial/Thornton Road

The Accounts Receivables Professional will report to the Collection Manager and works closely with the internal departments to ensure accounts are paying on time and the cash is posted correctly. We are seeking a detailed oriented professional, someone with good or outstanding communication and with excellent record-keeping skills. The Collections Specialist will review the accounts information, speak with customers to collect outstanding balances and identify/correct root cause issues from recurring. The Accounts Receivables Professional tracks payments, makes deposits, reconciles receivable, and provide administrative support to the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.

Prepare bank deposits.

Reconcile AR aging to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

Facilitate payment of invoices by contacting clients

Generate financial statements and reports detailing AR status.

Work on other assigned special projects or required to perform other accounts receivables duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or an associate degree is preferred.

1-3 years of experience in collection and cash posting.

Proficient with Excel

Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.

Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior

Soft Skills

Good team player and problem-solving attitude, precision, attention to the details

Positive and proactive attitude

Demonstrated ability to analyze, consolidate & interpret financial data.

Good ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
