$1,000 Sign On Bonus To be responsible for the preparation of meals both patient feeding and retail cafeteria.

May assist with the distribution of food.

Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.

Education Ability to read and write Experience Three months of related experience *Foodservice experience preferred, but not necessary.

*Mature, responsible, neat, clean in appearance, and have good personal hygiene.

*Must be able to read and write to the degree of counting for inventory, and stocking purposes.

*Requires 3 months or less of on the job training.

*ServSafe Food Handler course and certificate of completion within 12 months of hire.

Area of Responsibilities *Maintains clean work area.

Follows proper food handing and sanitation procedures as per local and federal regulation.

*Preparation of basic baked goods desserts such as puddings and gelatins, cuts pre-made cake and pies and boxed mixes.

*Prepares and assemble meals for patient feeding and retail cafeteria.

Prepares meals for patient tray line and retail cafeteria.

*Responsible for proper portioning of patient meals per requirements and on a timely manner.

Applies knowledge of modified diets.

Ensures quality presentation and availability of food items for all meal periods.

*Review production sheets, planning charts, and recipe books.

Follows recipes and standards of appearance.

*Adheres to job conduct, dress, attendance and in-service requirements.

*Assists with distribution of food to serving areas.

*Performs other duties as related and assigned by the supervisors or management.

*Procures food from refrigerators, freezer, and other storage areas.

Inspects food stuffs.

*Responsible for proper utilization of food and equipment to minimize waste and loss to the department.

*Tests food prior to serving to determine if it is prepared properly.

Compliance Statement Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program.

Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
