Job Title: MEP Cost and Estimation Executive

Responsibilities:

● Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects based on design specifications and project requirements.

● Analyze project documents, including blueprints and specifications, to accurately determine material, labor, and equipment costs.

● Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

● Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.

● Assist in developing and maintaining a database of cost information, including historical data and market trends.

● Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.

● Prepare and present cost estimation reports and financial analysis to stakeholders.

● Stay updated on industry standards, material costs, and best practices in cost estimation.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

● Proven experience in cost estimation within the MEP industry.

● Strong analytical and numerical skills.

● Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel).

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
