Junior Payroll Administrator

Our client is recruiting for a Junior Payroll Administrator to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town.

Knowledge & Requirements:

Passed Grade 12

Minimum of 2 years sound knowledge of VIP Payroll systems

Retail payroll experience of 2 years

Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes and procedures

Processed 1000 or more employees on a monthly basis

Solid understanding of relevant legislation (Tax, BCEA, Employee Benefits)

Excel intermediate user.

Excellent administration skills and good communication skills

Good time management and organisational skills

Detail-oriented, Proactive, Pressure resilient, Independent but needs to be a Team player

Strong attention to detail

Experience with time and attendance and multiple pay frequencies

Previous experience in payroll administration within the maritime industry, preferably in the fishing sector.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Salary: R15,000
