The Manager, Strategic Planning and Brand, Community, will actively contribute to the Community Banner Marketing team and act as a champion of the Foodland, COOP and IGA Brand and Businesses. This position will play a key contributing role in the short-medium-and long term strategic direction of the Community brands, and lead the development and execution to bring the strategy to life.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

Develop short, medium, and long-term strategic direction for the Foodland, CO-OP and IGA banner brands that build brand equity and help increase market share

Develop, plan & execute Tier 1 campaigns aligning with overall vision of the business

Oversight of overall Flyer strategy and execution, including Digital Transformation

Responsible for development, maintenance, and optimization of signature branded programs

Oversight on Digital / Social strategy for banner (including Website, DTC, App, Social Media)

Responsible for budget management and reporting for own program initiatives, including co-management of flyer

Support key enterprise initiatives such as Community and Sponsorship

Oversee program integration across channels, negotiating activities between departments and execution for print, social and digital.

Oversee and manage the rolling 52-week brand strategy & plan against Brand Marketing initiatives and play a key contributing role in the annual and quarterly planning for Community

What you have to offer:

An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

Proven high performer with results oriented mindset

Proven track record of collaborative leadership

Prior brand management experience at a large Retail and/or CPG organization would be an asset

Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
