SALARY RANGE: $69,160-$74,880 (Based on Qualifications and Experience)

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer I to work in our growing Infrastructure group. We are seeking qualified applicants for our Mokena, IL office location.

POSITION DUTIES:

Design of municipal water distribution systems, wastewater collections systems, and storm sewers (including pipelines, pumping stations, meters, and structures).

Design of underground infrastructure rehabilitation using Trenchless Technologies.

Field work associated with Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Surveys (SSES), Fire Flow Testing, and Part-time Construction Observation.

Water and Sewer Hydraulic Modeling and Master Planning.

Permitting with local, state and federal permitting agencies.

Assistance with Rate Studies, Funding Applications, GIS mapping, and large multidisciplinary projects (WW treatment plant and transportation projects).

REQUIREMENTS:

4-year B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.

Internship or Co-op experience preferred in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction.

Minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0.

E.I.T (Engineer in Training) License preferred.

Excellent technical writing skills.

Strong verbal, computer and organizational skills.

Ability to travel throughout Chicago area (own transportation).

Ability to work in a team environment.

Knowledge of basic principles of hydraulics, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems.

Experience with AutoCAD.

Ability to work on many different projects for many different Project Managers.
