Job Title: Project Manager/Coordinator - Hospital Information System Implementation

Location: Chennai

Department: Project Management office

Reports to: Project Director

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate project risks.

- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

- Lead project teams and foster a collaborative working environment.

- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and

progress.

- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected

deliverables.

Communication and Reporting:

- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including customers and third

parties/vendors.

- Communicate effectively with the Client Project team, ensuring that project requirements are understood and met.

- Deliver regular project updates to the Projects Director.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related

field.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically in HIS implementation or similar

healthcare IT projects.

Skills and Competencies:

- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

- Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

- Strong understanding of hospital workflows and HIS functionalities.

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

- Ability to travel as required to client sites.

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
