The pay range for this position is $60,000-85,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent in the field.

YOUR DAY TO DAY AS AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST As a key player in the Information Security team at Mercantile Bank, you will take on a multifaceted role encompassing technical monitoring, cyber incident response, and vulnerability management.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the company's system assets and sensitive data.

You will play a critical part in managing application and code scanning vulnerability controls, maintaining scanning architecture, and enhancing security awareness training programs.

Dive into hands-on tasks such as logical access reviews, endpoint security maintenance, phishing simulations, and cyber alert investigations.

Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our security measures and safeguard our network against potential threats.

ARE YOU THE INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

To excel in this role at Mercantile Bank, candidates must possess a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security, with a solid grasp of IT security principles, risk assessments, and compliance standards.

Proficiency in penetration testing, threat hunting, analyzing system vulnerabilities, conducting risk management, and implementing incident response strategies is crucial.

A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is required, ensuring a strong foundation in the field.

Preferred skills include expertise in endpoint protection tools, record retention, and utilizing vulnerability assessment tools.

Successful candidates will demonstrate adaptability in dynamic environments, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to develop and implement operational procedures effectively.
