The SSON Research & Analytics Digital Sales Account Executive will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the SSON Research & Analytics Platform, its data tools and all the research and insights we make accessible to paying subscribers. The Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing prospects, following up on marketing generated leads, conducting demos, and securing new paying subscribers to the SSON Research & Analytics platform.

Role Responsibilities
The Digital Sales Account Executive will be responsible for developing relationships with shared services and global business services professionals, consultants and solution providers, educating them on the SSON R&A platform capabilities and securing and booking subscribers. You will be tasked with building a pipeline and developing a strategy to meet and exceed quarterly sales goals. Specifically, the role requires:
Generating new revenue for the SSON Research & Analytics platform
Providing demos to prospective clients, educating them on the features and value of the platform
Conducting EQs, and initiating your own lead generation within the sector
Managing the full sales cycle from outreach to closing the deal
Account managing your clients, helping them with any questions they may have when using the platform
Attending some of our events to promote SSON R&A to attendees
Providing feedback to the team on what insights the industry is interested in
Collaborating with product development and marketing to inform on feedback, lead generation and overall campaign success
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role is energetic, enthusiastic, a quick learner, has a keen interest in data and analytics, and has experience in selling B2B products.
Bachelor’s Degree required
2-5 years B2B Sales experience
Experience managing a pipeline of prospects
Proven track record of success in conference/event and/or media/publication sales
Previous experience in business development (someone who possesses a hunter mentality)
Professional with good communications skills, and the confidence to converse with senior decision makers
High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
General office technology skills required (PC, Microsoft Outlook, CRM, LinkedIn)
