Quality Control Clerk

The Quality Control Clerk will provide administration support of Quality Management System and Documentation for Quality Control. This position is also responsible for working closely with the Quality Team members and/or Supervisor to assist in the maintenance and work of the Quality group which includes ensuring documents are reviewed, organized, and approved appropriately.

Position Responsibilities:

Support QMS that impact all departments and facilities.

Document Control and Data System support.

Support Document Numbering/Revision Lop.

Review/Support/Organize released product records and files.

Apply previous experience for continuous improvement of current systems.

Assist with procedure revisions to include updating procedures performed.

Ability to draft new procedures from current templates as needed.

Maintain Supplier records to include ISO/API Certificate’s and employee training records (i.e., Mag Particle, LP, UT along with keeping up with current eye exams)

Support/Maintain/Monitor training records and database.

Assisting in Quality inspections and sample handling (1st PC, in-process and final inspections)

Help implement corrective actions and process improvements.

Perform record keeping, organization and archiving.

Help trend quality test and environmental results.

Prepare and participate in Quality management review meetings.

Perform additional job duties as required and assigned.

Education and Education:

3+ year(s) experience in a quality role within a regulated environment.

High School diploma required, vocational or college education a plus.

Precision machine shop and/or fastener manufacturing experience a plus.
