ACCOUNTING & REPORTING LEAD

Location: Prague

Contract: full time, permanent

Key objective of this role is to coordinate all accounting and reporting processes at Synthes UAE entity to ensure accurate financial records and analysis timely and in line with compliance requirements.

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

Accounting:

· Coordinate month-end close activities to ensure accounting records are up-to-date based on standard accounting practices.

· Maintain the revenue closing and reporting activities on a monthly basis.

· Review & approve financial transactions for accuracy, liaising with other GS teams (incl. Payroll, Intercompany, Treasury) to raise and resolve concerns on a timely manner, maintaining reconciliations for critical accounts.

· Supervise the accounts payable process, including identifying potential risks of non-payment and leading the banking process in this respect.

· Maintain controls, updating policies and procedures as per compliance requirements.

Reporting & Analysis:

· Prepare management reports and communicate it with the commercial organization.

· Perform financial analysis for BVAs and quarterly reviews and submissions.

· Review & approve Corporate financial submissions.

· Support in budgeting cycles and forecasting, including projecting cashflow requirements for monthly netting.

· Continuously identify areas for improvement in processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area

· Minimum 4 years of work experience in Finance / Accounting

· Highly skilled in MS Excel; ability to work with large datasets quickly and efficiently

· Sense of urgency and ability to work under time pressure while keeping high level of quality

· Strong communication skills; ability to summarize and articulate complex concepts in simple ways

· Ability to work in a highly complex, dynamic environment

· Working knowledge of SAP are an advantage

· Fluency in English (written and oral)
