Summary

As Senior SSRS Developer at Gainwell, you are responsible for designing and/or creating, maintaining, deploying, and managing SSRS reports for internal business teams and our customers.

Work collaboratively with IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support analytic reports and BI dashboards in a compliant, regulated environment.

Escalate concerns to project management or Team Lead, assist in determining best practices and provide suggestions on how to improve current practices.

Support required data integration, reporting and transformation processes crucial to the implementation and function of the Gainwell Medicaid Fiscal Agent services product.

Serves as a team leader, coordinating team members’ activities, research on reporting tasks, requirement analysis, design of data specifications and mapping documents.

Ability to effectively track team progress and report to Gainwell leaders, clients and partners.

The lead data analyst will use SQL to build complex queries and will refine those queries into reports within the SSRS tool.

Your role in our mission

Development and programming with SQL Server SSRS and scripting

Facilitates and/or participates in JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion and any other method of data exchange.

Works aggressively to define project scope. Ties data interface roster elements back to a valid requirement. Works with the customer and account management to control the scope of the project.

Responds to action items by assigned due dates.

Escalates concerns to project management, such as delays or risks of delays as early as possible.

Creates accurate queries, reports, data mapping documents according to the mapping process.

What we're looking for

5+ years of applications development and programming experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite - SSRS and MS SQL Scripting

3+ years SQL Server version 2014 or higher experience

Experience in a Healthcare IT working with claims, member and provider data strongly desired.

Analytical skills in a SQL environment

Experience with QNXT or FACETS Healthcare Payer Platforms preferred

Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
