BAE Systems is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our Authentication team in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services (HITS) Contract for DoD High Performance Computing Centers.
NOTE: This is a 100% virtual/remote position that can be accomplished from anywhere in the continental U.S.
The successful candidate will support the development, testing, and deployment of authentication and identity management capabilities enabling access to DoD supercomputers and infrastructure across multiple locations. Strong integration with the program’s security team is essential for rapid responsiveness to program security needs. This will include working with a team of engineers to review and define configurations, create automation scripts to deploy and configure network assets, review, test, and deploy software applications to include hardening and configuration management.
Flexibility in approach to finding solutions is essential, as well as the ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities and learn new technologies quickly. Occasional off-hours activity will be required to perform updates and take part in service restoration efforts.
