Chief Operating Officer (COO)

We are recruiting a Chief Operating Officer (COO) on behalf of our client, a group of companies headquartered in Cyprus. The ideal candidate must possess experience in the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) industry and will play a pivotal role within the executive team. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and optimizing processes to facilitate long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with the board and senior managers to execute the strategic plan.

Look for ways to improve operations and performance.

Set up effective systems and policies to support the company's goals.

Lead and develop a high-performing management team.

Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Work with finance to manage budgets, monitor performance, and improve financial practices.

Provide daily reports to keep management informed of critical issues.

Ensure operations follow all legal and regulatory standards.

Establish protocols that clearly define key items for risk management to ensure the safety of employees and customers.

Qualifications:

Must have proven experience as a COO or in a similar role specifically within the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) industry.

Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field, an MBA is strongly preferred.

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Experience in organizational development, personnel management, budget, and strategic planning.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an aptitude for decision-making.

Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make timely, well-informed decisions.
