THE ROLE

Your main mission is to prepare the accounting and financial statements in compliance with IFRS and statutory standards, within the deadlines set up by the Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working for various holding-type subsidiaries of the Head Office (media, port terminals, investments, etc.), SNC (ships) or SCI type, as part of a team of around 8 people:

You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping using SAP, monthly preparation of IFRS reports using Onestream (the Group's reporting tool), including reconciliation of intercompany accounts within your scope, preparation of statutory statements, tax declarations and tax returns;

You will supervise the same work carried out by other employees and by external firms;

You will be the main point of contact for the statutory auditors in connection with their audit of the annual financial statements and any contractual audits;

You may be required to produce and analyse forecasts and ensure the quality of the information, particularly in terms of compliance with the Group's principles and methods;

You will monitor the correct application of Group procedures, suggest improvements and implement recommendations in terms of internal control;

You will monitor the tax and accounting situation;

You may be required to take part in different projects (new regulations / development of IT tools / integration of new systems).

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

You hold a Masters’ degree in Finance, Accounting;

You have at least 7 years' experience;

You will be able to work on technical subjects in general accounting, cost accounting and taxation;

You have idealy started your career in an accounting firm, have experience of IFRS and have knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP;

You are autonomous and have a sense of initiative;

You are rigorous, responsive and flexible in your work;

You have good communication skills;

English required.
