Key Information: Must have 10-15 years of experience in operating equipment such as excavator, grader, dozer, loader.

Must be able to perform competencies on equipment operators and position titles such as pipelayer and topman.

Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.

Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description: The ability to operate equipment such as excavator, grader, dozer, and loader required.

Performing competencies on equipment operators and position titles such as pipelayer and topman is required.

Travel required throughout Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan.

Vehicle provided.

Advise in the development of the competency program.

Help develop individual development plans with site supervision.

Keep stock of appropriate paperwork in their truck.

Perform site visits as indicated to perform competency evaluations on each pieces of equipment each employee is operating.

Coach employees on operation/maintenance of equipment if required.

Communicate with site supervision or HSE to discuss appropriate course of action to complete all required competencies.

Update training as required.

Able to pass RCMP & CN security clearances Experience and Certification Requirements: 10-15 years of experience in operating equipment such as excavator, grader, dozer, and loader is required.

Supervisor experience is an asset.

Candidate must have clean driving record and be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening.

Powered Mobile Equipment Operator Evaluator Certification would be considered an asset.

Travel is required - A valid Class 1 drivers license is required.

A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.

Basic computer skills an asset.

Must be self-motivated and organized.

Leadership skills with the ability to coach/mentor others.

Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
