Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

About You

This opening is for a full stack Senior Software Engineer in the Stack Monitoring service built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Observability and Management space. You will work with a fast-growing, action-oriented team of software engineers, test automation engineers, product managers and UX designers to build out new functionality and enhancements within the product. As a team, we use Agile methodologies to self organize and deliver value at a rapid pace.

You will have the opportunity to deal with challenging customer problems that require systems knowledge i.e. spanning across key areas of operating systems, Oracle Packaged applications like E-buisness suite, databases, parallel and distributed systems as well as cloud infrastructure. If you are interested in solving challenging problems in system architecture and algorithms, then this the role for you.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

- 6+ years’ experience as a Software Developer/Engineer within an Enterprise Product Development team

- 6+ years’ experience in Java

- Strong development experience in developing Automated End-to-end solutions on Oracle Enterpriose Manager Cloud Control Platform

- Strong and hands knowledge of Oracle Cloud infrastructure Platform

- Hands on development experience with devloping cloud native services from ground up on Oracle Cloud infrastructure

- Hands on development experience developing solutions using Oracle FMW Platform for Oracle Weblogic Server, SOA.OSB

- Hands on development experience to build automated solutions for Oracle FMW Patching, Provisioning, Scale up/Down

- Strong UI design and development using typescript,Javascript

- -Must possess excellent debugging skills

- A can-do attitude with a high interest in learning new technologies and how to function in a multi-dimensional team environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experienced with multiple software development methodologies, with an emphasis and passion for Agile

- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and across multiple technical and non-technical groups
