Summary

As Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager, you'll ensure compliance with safety regulations, creating a safe environment. As a leader, you will develop and implement safety policies and procedures, and train employees accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities

Leading, developing, and implementing Environmental Health and Safety policies, programs, and procedures.

Managing safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Creating and maintaining safe work systems, integrating health and safety into management and process leadership.

Allocating resources, while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve Environmental Health and Safety objectives.

Ensuring continuous improvement of employee safety and health through the creation of an Integrated Management System.

General Tasks

Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

Subject matter expertise in Environmental Health & Safety, with a track record of achieving operational goals.

Working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) with specific experience leading ISO compliance to 14001, 45001 and integration of these standards into ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 management systems.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and industry standards like ISO, EHS, OSHA, and EPA.

Prioritize safety and possess exceptional hazard identification skills, as well as be proficient in risk evaluation.

Have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Proven ability to oversee teams, complex processes, or complex programs.
