Using predictive insights and recommendations, Works helps hospitals react to fluctuations in demand, while its staffing marketplace creates competition to fill open job requisitions with high-quality, active talent.

What we're looking for Trusted is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to play a critical role in driving financial stability, compliance, strategic decision-making, and ensuring operations efficiency within an organization, in order to positively impact our success and sustainability.

Your responsibilities

Lead the team to deliver the month-end close process in an efficient, and accurate manner

Provide research, guidance, drafting, and/or review of technical revenue accounting memos

Identify and prioritize process improvements & automation opportunities to streamline current accounting processes

Leverage tech systems and tool integrations to optimize the day-to-day accounting operations

Work closely with the Company's external auditors on revenue and related controls and manage quarterly and annual audit requirements

Act as the business partner to the business and cross-functional teams to educate on financial impact to drive informed decision-making

Ensure tax compliance

Thoroughly understand and communicate federal, state, and international tax implications to crucial business decisions

Who you are

You have

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting or related field required, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required

4 years of experience in audit, preferably in Big-6 public accounting firms

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, in either public company or venture-backed high-growth companies

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team

Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills

Ability to lead and develop a high-performing accounting team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Working knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Experience with audits, tax planning, and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite), Looker, and advanced Excel skills

Healthcare staffing industry experience preferred
