Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS), Management division in Roseville, MN is seeking a Creative & Communication Intern for its Communication team.

This is a temporary position that is anticipated duration of three months, but may be extended or end early based on business need.

Responsibilities

This purpose of this position is to support the Corporate Creative Director through assigned marketing, creative, life enrichment and communication responsibilities. This individual is responsible for special projects and administrative duties/projects as assigned, including:

1. Digital asset organization for community photo library and reorganization

2. MyChannel production to create a system for organizing assets on PHS's internal community TV platform

3. Image production to prepare images for social media, blog, website, emails, etc.

4. Other duties as assigned to support the Creative, Communications and Marketing team.

Qualifications

Intern should be working toward obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or a related business degree.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) preferred.

Strong attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Possess the ability to deal sensitively and tactfully with customers (employees, visitors, vendors and the general public).

Must function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with other facility personnel.

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.

Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
