ISS STOXX is actively looking for a Data Steward - EU Taxonomy Data (Analyst) to join the Mumbai Team (Goregaon East).

Overview:

E&S Data Governance defines, catalogues and maintains ISS STOXX’s sustainability data, including E&S Raw Data and EU Taxonomy Reported Data. It is also responsible for running quality assurance processes, and for raising awareness on the datasets under management.

The E&S Data Governance unit is seeking a talented and ambitious analyst with a solid understanding of company-reported EU Taxonomy data. The analyst will be expected to explain the dataset to stakeholders, adapt, improve and create data collection templates based on shifting EU Taxonomy regulations, as well as write and curate the manuals. Initial tasks will consist of answering questions about data definitions, and updating the guidance when necessary in the EU Taxonomy manuals. To this end, you are expected to have a grounding in EU Taxonomy reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee EU Taxonomy data collection manuals

Test and troubleshoot data collection rules to either confirm their integrity or propose improvements

Identify areas of improvement for process documentation

Answer questions on EU Taxonomy data methodology

Conduct analyses of EU Taxonomy data output to identify deviations for further scrutiny

Qualification:

BA or MA Degree Holder (a degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Economics, Environmental Science, ESG, Statistics or Sustainability)

Excellent knowledge of EU Taxonomy

Excellent communication skills and command of English

A desire to show initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to challenges

Attention to detail, and methodical and thorough approach to work

A drive for constant improvement of processes

An ability to present complex ideas in an accessible manner
