Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for an Accounts Recievable Analyst to join our family.
Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will will support credit/collections efforts by ensuring full compliance with credit/collections policy, procedures, and timely collections activities. The A/R Analyst will also provide excellent customer service through resolution of accounts receivable and credit issues for our customers. This position will work closely with our sales, distribution, and accounting teams.
Advanced experience in collections diligence with a resolution approach
Excellent negotiation abilities, complex problem solving, judgment, decision making, and critical thinking - advocate for our customers but maintain company business principles
Ability to communicate with verbal and written proficiency
Places and releases credit holds as outlined by supervisor and credit terms
Administers standalone payment plans as necessary
Obtain and mail invoice copies/statements for customers, as requested
Processes daily credit card payments as required
Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.
Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up
Perform other activities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited 4 year university preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of credit and collections experience.
Previous experience in credit & collections, accounts receivable management and billing systems.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational and reporting skills.
Working knowledge of D&B reports, Experian Reports or other credit related reporting tools.
Accomplished negotiator with strong professional demeanour for interacting and communicating in difficult and stressful situations.
Industry experience preferred (i.e. Wholesale Distribution with foreign/domestic supplier mix).
Exceptional organization skills and ability to follow through on commitments.
Exhibit exceptional customer service to internal as well as external customers
Ability to effectively manage tasks and delegate work appropriately.
Advanced Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required
