D. Floyd Construction is an established and general construction company operating in the Calgary housing & development market. Floyd Construction is known for building unique & visually appealing entry features in the new communities of Calgary. We are seeking an experienced Bobcat Operator to join our team.

Location: Main office-South East Calgary

Work Setting: various locations throughout Calgary

Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday-8:00 to 4:30pm, overtime and weekends if needed

Pay: $24.00-$30.00

Duties: Completing pre-trip & preventative maintenance on your assigned machine, tooth changes, proper maintenance of equipment, loading of truck with material, sweeping with bobcat brooms, read & interpret blueprints, maps, drawings & specifications.

Area of Work Experience: backfilling, excavation, land clearing, material handling, rough grading, trenching.

Requirements: safety boots, safety vest, hard hat, work clothing, Class 5 drivers license with drivers abstract, reliable transportation to the office

Experience: Skid Steer: 3 years (required), Truck & Trailer transport: 3 years (required) Drilling-Auguring Holes 1 year (preferred)
