Automotive BDC/Customer Service Rep

Job Summary:

Murphy Ford, Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive BDC/Customer Service Rep. This is a full-time position in the auto industry located in Chester, Pennsylvania. The role is an individual contributor position that offers a base salary plus commission based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and assisting with all aspects of the dealership's business development and customer service operations.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer inquiries over the phone, email, and online chat with professionalism and a focus on providing the best customer experience

- Schedule and confirm appointments for sales and service departments

- Follow up with potential and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and build ongoing relationships

- Assist with lead generation and customer retention efforts

- Accurately maintain customer records and database

- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

- Stay up-to-date on products, services, and promotions offered by the dealership

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems

- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
